Music has been present in every stage of his life. Early vocal training and ensemble performance shaped a foundation of discipline, musicianship, and connection to community — experiences that continue to inform both his production work and teaching approach.

As his interests deepened, Spencer began exploring music independently through piano, guitar, and songwriting. What began as experimentation gradually evolved into structured composition, recording, and sound development. That early curiosity — listening closely to tone, resonance, and space — became the foundation of his work in music production and studio recording.

Performance and recording soon became central. Through live shows across Denver venues and community spaces, he developed an understanding of audience connection and performance dynamics. At the same time, home recordings grew into professional studio work, refining skills in editing, mixing, and production workflow.

At Doane University, Spencer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music while balancing performance, technical development, and business studies. He built instructional programs, formed ensembles, and strengthened both artistic and technical foundations — shaping the dual focus on education and production that defines his work today.

Today, his work centers on three connected areas: private music lessons in Denver, recording and music production, and original composition. He has taught for over eight years and directed music programs while continuing to produce artist recordings, demo projects, and sync-ready compositions for independent releases and media use.
